WE’RE PROVIDING SERVICES BOTH VIA VIDEO TELETHERAPY AND IN-PERSON
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PSYCHOTHERAPIST OR COUPLES/MARRIAGE/RELATIONSHIP THERAPIST
We are an established and thriving group practice that offers an incredibly supportive work culture. We value everyone’s input and ideas and we put forth a lot of support and energy into our staff. Concentric staff regularly shares their gratitudes of everyone which is one of the many qualities and experiences that contribute to a healthy work culture. We are a curious and passionate group that takes our work seriously but also carves out space to laugh and connect with one another with humor too.
Concentric hires employees (W-2) and is proud to have a full-time, in-house Intake Coordinator and Business Operations Manager to help with a number of administrative, billing and insurance, and back-end support so Therapists can focus their attention on providing solid therapy and counseling services, feel supportive, and have the capacity to develop their professional selves both within and outside of our group.
We believe if we provide a healthy, supportive environment to our Therapists, there will be a healthy trickle effect to our clients and their care. Prospective and existing clients can be assured their needs are getting met from the very first time they reach out for help or services or during the course of their therapy treatment with us. We offer fast turn around time to answer their questions, verify and share their insurance coverage benefits (if using insurance), and offer support and continuity all the way around. When a new client appointment is scheduled, the Therapist obtains a clinical summary of the client and their needs before the first appointment. This is another way we provide extra care and support to both our Therapists and clients.
We offer competitive pay, training stipends, both individual and group supervision/consultation group, all group professional development trainings, health insurance options, retirement plan, paid vacation, and other benefits and perks (see below).
We are seeking a full-time, highly qualified therapist to join our group who values clinical excellence when providing therapy and other services to our clients. We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about the work you do and the people you serve. The ideal candidate is one who values responsive and detailed communication, integrity and authenticity, and who can work both independently and collaboratively with everyone in the group. We are committed and open to providing additional opportunities for growth, flexibility, and additional payment & training recognition as Therapist becomes (more) tenured with us.
This therapist will be provisionally or fully licensed* in Illinois and will have relevant experience and training within Concentric's Clinical Areas, such as anxiety, depression and mood; complex and developmental post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD); relationship challenges; couples and marriage struggles; tween, adolescent and family issues; school and peer concerns; relational trauma; mind-body connection; life transitions; acute and chronic stress; grief and loss; the self, identity, purpose & meaning; substance misuse, abuse; and unresolved family-of-origin issues. We embrace and value inclusivity. We are affirming of diversity, LGBTQIA+, and other marginalized populations, and we are proud to serve clients in the Chicagoland area at both our locations. We also understand the importance of being educated, informed, and supportive as we continue to evolve as human beings and as a society.
This position entails providing individual adult therapy and one of the following: couples therapy and/or tween, adolescent & family therapy. Providing group therapy, workshops, or retreats is not required but a bonus. One-on-one and group supervision/consultation is available. Additional professional development trainings for the entire group are offered 3-4 times per year.
Therapists are expected to bill a minimum of 20 clients per week. We offer flexibility to Therapists if one prefers to bill on the lower range of 20-24 or higher range 25-29 billable clients per week. Must be able to work 4-5 days per week with 2 weekday evenings (+ additional weekday evening or weekend day). We can be flexible around days and times to see clients, particularly for Therapists who are more seasoned (or become more tenured with Concentric). Full-time therapist may work at both Chicago locations in The Loop and Sauganash neighborhoods or one location only (depending on needs). We are looking for a therapist to commit to at least 2 years at Concentric. Therapists can expect to provide teletherapy with options of teletherapy only, in-person only, or hybrid depending on factors and needs.

TESTIMONIALS
“I am writing to share my enthusiastic recommendation of Concentric Counseling & Consulting. As a former full-time clinician of 4 years, I can attest that the well-being of both clients and employees is centered with an authenticity that truly defines the practice. The practice cultivates a supportive and collaborative environment where every clinician is valued and differences of perspectives and approaches are respected and welcomed. From the leadership team to fellow clinicians, there is an unmistakable energy of empathy and collective support.
Throughout my time with the practice, I was impressed by the commitment of Jennifer Larson and Concentric to provide consistent applicable support via individual and group consultation services as well as professional development opportunities. The practice provides an environment of inclusion where group vulnerability is welcomed yet never insisted. I so appreciated the many opportunities for connection outside of the office as well including dinners, book clubs, holiday parties, etc. I always felt seen and celebrated as a person first, clinician second. Concentric fully encourages clinical individuality where each skill set can be highlighted, providing clients the best possible care and clinician’s the freedom to practice with autonomy.
What truly sets Concentric apart is its dedication to compassionate client-centered care and genuine responsiveness to clinicians’ needs. The protocols and operations processes with Concentric create such ease as they are offered with clarity, consistency, and timeliness allowing for clinicians to focus on client care rather than insurance challenges and referral management. As a clinician with Concentric, I have experienced firsthand the value placed on intentional work-life balance, allowing me to grow both personally and professionally. Individual requests and ideas are encouraged with open communication and genuine reflection. The competitive compensation and benefits package further highlight Concentrics’s desire to support clinicians and their ability to provide quality care. The team genuinely fosters an environment of safety, empathy, and healing.
I wholeheartedly recommend Concentric to clinicians seeking a welcoming, inclusive, and learning driven professional environment. My time with the practice was extremely fulfilling, and I am confident that others will find the same level of growth and enjoyment in their journey with Concentric.” — Emily King, LCPC
