Jennifer Larson, LCPC, NCC enjoys providing clinical supervision and consultation services to therapists, supervisees and consultees of Concentric Counseling & Consulting. In 2006, the State of Illinois licensing board required Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPCs) to undergo 18 hours of clinical supervision training. Jennifer had already met this requirement as she had completed a graduate college course in supervision and consultation as this area of clinical service began to pique Jennifer's interest in graduate school. At the same time of meeting this licensing requirement in 2006, Jennifer has had the pleasure of enhancing therapists' clinical skills and then later private practice endeavors through various consultation groups. In 2013, Jennifer formed a group practice and began to offer supervision and consultation services to Concentric therapists who were both working towards licensure or were already fully licensed. In 2016, Jennifer decided to expand these services to professionals and therapists in the Chicagoland area.

TESTIMONIALS
"I have known Jennifer Larson since 2006, and we have consulted many times about various clients, ethical issues, and how to run an effective private practice. Jen has a great, professional perspective as well as a solid background of education and experience. I know I can talk with her and come away with a solution and reassurance. -- Alexis Murray-Golay, LCHMHC, Peterborough Clinical Associates, Peterborough, NH
"I had the privilege of meeting Jennifer Larson in 2005 and she has been an invaluable addition to my life, both personally and professionally. We started off as colleagues in a community mental health setting and I learned very early on that Jennifer would always lend an open ear and support when I needed it. She offered not only genuine empathy but would willingly share her professional feedback when I was struggling with a case, which often helped me to see a different perspective or consider fresh options for problem-solving. Jennifer was always an integral member of our case consultation meetings and often challenged the members to "think outside the box" and seek further resources or education on a topic to share with the group.
I have always admired Jennifer's motivation and drive to build her thriving practice. In 2012, she provided support and information to me about how to get my own private practice started and I can honestly say I don't think I could have done it without her. We continue to meet on a regular basis for group consultation and peer supervision [2016], and her presence is an exceptional one. It's easy to see how her warmth and experience contribute to her being not only an amazing therapist but a savvy businesswoman as well." -- Jennifer Langel, LCSW, Private Practice, Chicago, IL
"I have had the pleasure of consulting and working with Jennifer Larson over the past years. In 2011, we met at a counselor training seminar on relationships with a focus on sexual intimacy and addiction. Jennifer is a warm, smart, and a creative thinker. I have networked and referred clients to her and believe that she is a dedicated therapist that works well with individuals and couples. I believe it is beneficial for the overall community that Jennifer has expanded her practice over the past few years by hiring therapists and offering more services, including clinical supervision. She has excellent clinical skills and collaborates closely with professionals." -- Linda Goldsmith, LCPC, CADC, OTR/L, Goldsmith Counseling & Consulting, P.C. - Chicago, IL
